The very first Family Night Out on Kirkwood is here, and we’re kicking things off on May 13 with a celebration of Townie Summer.

From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Kirkwood Avenue transforms into a space built for gathering. We’ll set up tables and chairs right in the street so you can grab carryout from your favorite downtown and Kirkwood restaurants, many of which will be offering special menu items just for the night. Come hungry, stay awhile, and share a table with neighbors and friends.

Along the avenue, you’ll find a curated mix of vendors offering family-friendly goods, handmade items, and art, plus interactive activities for kids hosted by local nonprofit organizations. There will be music in the MCPL courtyard and a handful of outdoor games to keep things playful for the little ones.
