This week was long. I’ve been looking forward to my lazy Sunday all week. It’s the one day of the week I set aside for rest and relaxation. I do a little work if I feel like it. Binge watch Netflix if I feel like it. Spend time outside if I feel like it. Whatever I want to do. Maybe be a little creative. Do a little reading. Drink tea. So here is my plan for a lazy Sunday in Bloomington.
I like spending time at home. Last week I visited Yarns Unlimited to drop off a flyer for the Bloomington Handmade Market (this Saturday!). I was fascinated by all the textures and patterns. My interest in fibers is definitely peaked. It inspired me to get creative. What better way to start the day than by being creative? Starting the day with a creative project and Hopscotch coffee. Even better.
Lunch with a friend is a great boost after a long week at work. One of my goals is to eat at every local restaurant in Bloomington. Bloomington Independent Restaurant Association has provided my guide. After lunch, I will peruse MCPL for a good read. Several of the new arrivals seem interesting. I’m looking for the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea at Cup & Kettle. This little tea shop perfects the experience of afternoon tea. Sipping tea and reading my new book sounds like a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
On my way home, I’ll stop at Bloomingfoods and grab something for dinner. The rest of my evening is spent eating healthy, delicious food out on my deck and enjoying the Indiana springtime.
